Good choices might include a 2-ounce portion of protein food (beans, an egg, poultry) with ½ cup of fresh salad dressed with apple cider vinegar, or ½ cup of a steamed vegetable with some type of grain (1/2 cup brown rice or a piece of whole-or multigrain bread).</p>
<p>2. Don’t skip meals. This only intensifies hunger and food cravings.</p>
<p>3. Make your main meal lunch, not dinner. Some people have had excellent results consuming no food after 3pm.</p>
<p>4. At meals, put less food on your plate. Chew slowly. Stop eating as soon as you are no longer hungry don’t wait until you feel full.</p>
<p>5. Eat foods raw, if possible. If foods are heated, they should be baked, broiled, steamed, or boiled. Never consume fried or greasy foods.</p>
<p>6. Consume the following foods in moderation: apples, brown rice, buckwheat, chestnuts, corn, grapes, oatmeal, white potatoes, and yellow vegetables. These foods contain small amounts of essential fatty acids, but they should not be overused.</p>
<p>7. Eat more complex carbohydrates that also offer protein, such as tofu, lentils, plain baked potatoes no toppings, except for vegetables sesame seeds, beans, brown rice, whole grains, skinless turkey or chicken breast, and white fish no shellfish. Poultry and fish should be broiled or baked, never fried.</p>
<p>Finally, see to it that your choices of meals are based on a program that will lead to weight loss and be sure to drink 4 to 6liters of water daily and also incorporate exercise in your daily routine. You don&#8217;t have to force yourselves to incorporate these tips into your daily routine right away, start slow and learn to adapt them. Therefore, the program does not dictate what specific foods you may or may not eat for your effective weight loss.</p>
<p>You can actually eat anything that you want under the Weight Watchers program and come up with your own food plan based on your points. By using your points, you may even save eating foods like ice cream and burgers for special occasions by not eating them today and using your reserve points on the day of the special occasion.</p>
<p>Weight Watchers program is also composed of meeting with your group mates. The first meeting usually is a time when new participants get to meet the other members and they get and orientation about the program. The Weight Watchers program is quite encouraging for many because it does not restrict eating foods, one can actually eat anything they want. It just stresses the significance of having healthy portions of vegetables and fruits in the diet. It also encourages the intake of low-fat dairy products. <p>5. Do not consume alcohol in any form, including beer and wine. Alcohol not only adds calories, but it inhibits the burning of fat from fat deposits. It can also interfere with your judgment, so you may find yourself eating things you ordinarily would not.</p>
<p>6. Do not eat any white flour products, salts, white rice or processed foods. Also, avoid fast food restaurants and all junk foods.</p>
<p>7. Last keep a diet diary to help you keep track of what you eat, the caloric and fat content of what you eat, and what triggers your eating.
